About
Every small business owner begins with a dream.

It’s never just about making money. It’s about the late nights, the sacrifices, the risks, and the belief that what you’ve built can truly make a difference in someone’s life. After a few years in business, that belief begins to grow, and so does the desire to keep scaling. But with that dream often comes a quiet fear: What if the business I’ve worked so hard for has to close because I didn’t grow enough?
That fear runs deep because closing the doors would not just feel like losing a business. It would feel like losing a part of yourself, not to mention wondering what family and friends would think, or worse, having to let employees go. The hardest part is knowing the business is not struggling because the service is bad. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. You know you have something valuable. You’ve already helped real people solve real problems. You know people are out there searching for what you have to offer. You just may not know the right strategy to get in front of them.
That’s where we come in. Founded by Abigail Hardin in 2019, Create and Collab was built to help small business owners stop trying to figure it all out alone. We know how heavy it feels to carry the pressure of growth on your own, and we understand the fear of staying stuck. We also understand the deeper reason behind it all: building a legacy that lasts not just for today, but for future generations.
We exist to help small business owners grow through digital marketing, specifically web design and SEO. We believe no business with a powerful service or product should stay hidden simply because the right people cannot find it. That’s why we create websites that are not only beautiful, but strategically built to put your business in front of people already searching for what you have to offer.
We believe business owners shouldn't have to guess their way through growth. We believe you deserve a clear plan, and we’re here to help pave the way. We do that by building a strong digital presence through a website that builds trust and attracts the right audience. When these pieces come together, everything begins to change. The right customers start finding you. Your audience grows. Your confidence grows. Instead of living with the fear of having to shut your business down, you begin building something that has room to thrive for the long haul.
This is about so much more than a website. It’s about reaching more people and building something strong enough to last. You have something truly valuable to offer, and we believe you deserve every chance to grow. We do this work because we know what’s at stake. Your business deserves to be seen, your service deserves to reach the people who need it, and your legacy deserves the chance to live on. Keeping that dream alive is at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you're looking to have your first website built or if your current website isn't attracting the right people, we’d love to help. We would be honored to build or redesign a website that truly helps your business get seen, connect with the right audience, and grow with confidence!
Abigail Hardin
Founder of Create and Collab
Abigail has been in online marketing since 2016 and launched her own business in 2019, offering logo design, social media marketing, and web design. After creating over 50 websites, she started doing SEO (search engine optimization) for one of her clients. After seeing how the increase in website traffic helped one of her clients massively scale their business, she was hooked. The ever-evolving challenge of search engine optimization, combined with the desire to see her clients grow–is what fuels her passion every day. “It’s a puzzle I never want to put down.” says Abigail.
What made you want to start your own business?
After getting into digital marketing I realized there are so many small business owners that are insanely talented at what they do, but struggle marketing their business online. We see and hear thousands of advertisements every day, this makes it overwhelming trying to stand out. Is there a topic you could talk about for hours? Marketing is that topic for me. I absolutely love meeting small business owners, hearing about what they have to offer, how they run their business, and strategizing ways to help them grow.
Do you have a clunky or outdated website? Without a strong online presence, marketing and sales can feel difficult and time consuming. If your website and social presence can get people to like, know, and trust your brand – they're much more likely to become customers. Having a compelling and strategic online presence can make that possible. Truth is, you shouldn’t have to stress about all the tech details by yourself. This is exactly why I started Create and Collab. We are able to take this part entirely off your plate. Whether you’ve been in business for less than a year or ten years, the marketing side can get overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone! We exist to develop an online presence you’re actually proud of. This facilitates consistent and manageable growth moving forward by attracting the right audience, directly to your website. This is truly what every small business owner needs to soar and continue flying.

What led you to become an entrepreneur?

Growing up my parents owned a successful window cleaning company for over 25 years. Being raised by entrepreneurs definitely influenced my life in a big way. I learned from a young age that you can do anything you set your mind to. (Jeremiah 29:11) I spent a lot of time day dreaming about owning my own business, but I wasn't sure how or what that would look like. It didn't matter what age I was, being at Dad's office always felt so special! Yes, that's me on my Dad's work truck 🙂
The year I turned fourteen, my dad passed away. I'd always been the artsy type, but after that happened being creative turned into a way to self soothe. I would spend hours drawing and painting, this was my new happy place. In High School I spent every moment I could in the art room. Through the years I started taking requests from friends and family to draw or paint scenes for them. This sparked a passion in me to create for others, little did I know how far this would take me.
After graduating, I worked for a tech company, solving problems for people on their phones, tablets, and computers. Later, I worked as an Administrative Assistant to a singer songwriter who also owns an orphanage and a large online business. While working for her she would bring up ideas and ask if I could make them a reality. It began with small graphic design projects that led to creating album artwork, designing merch, building websites, creating logos… the list goes on. After working with her for a few years, I decided to finally start my own business.
While working for her I shared little sneak peeks of these projects on social media. After 3 years of sharing my work online, when I launched my business I had over 60 people reach out to me in the first month. I had no idea how many people were watching! This initial growth got me through the first year. I continued to share my projects online and the business has been growing like a weed ever since!
Starting a business that empowers other small business owners to live their dream has been deeply fulfilling. This passion is truly what makes me excited to wake up every single morning. I would have loved to work side by side with my dad. I know we would have had a blast together! Empowering small business owners through Create and Collab is the closest I can get to that! Whether I'm building a website, on a strategy call, or grabbing coffee with a fellow business owner, I'm honored to get to be a part of their journey.
