Meet Abigail
Abigail has been in online marketing since 2016 and launched her own business in 2019, specializing in logo design, social media marketing, and web design. After creating over 50 websites, she discovered a passion for SEO. After seeing how the increase in website traffic helped one of her clients scale their business, she was hooked. The ever-evolving challenge of search engine optimization, combined with the desire to see her clients grow–is what fuels her passion every day.

What made you want to start your own business?
There are so many small business owners that are insanely talented at what they do, but struggle marketing it online. We see and hear thousands of advertisements every day, this makes it overwhelming trying to stand out. Is there a topic you could talk about for hours? Marketing is that topic for me. I absolutely love meeting small business owners, hearing about what they offer, how they run their business, and strategizing ways to help them grow.
Do you have a clunky or outdated website? Without a strong online presence, marketing and sales can feel difficult and time consuming. If your website and social presence can get people to like, know, and trust your brand – they're much more likely to become customers. Having a compelling and strategic online presence can make that possible. However, building a website and online presence by yourself can feel like a huge challenge. The majority of the clients I've worked with tell me they don't feel tech savvy or creative. If you relate to this, you're not alone.
When I started Create and Collab in 2019, the goal was to help small business owners develop an online presence they're actually proud of–through logo design, social media marketing, and web design. Now I offer exclusive SEO services to a select group of clients. Glow Up Web Design is our strategic partner that provides logo design, social media marketing, and web design services. GR Digital Marketing is also a strategic partner that offers pay-per-click services. Since I'm not personally doing all of this work myself, our combined efforts are able to not only create an online presence our clients are proud of, but also facilitate consistent and manageable growth moving forward. This is truly what every small business owners needs to soar and continue flying.

The Back Story
Growing up my parents owned a successful window cleaning company for 25+ years. Being raised by entrepreneurs definitely influenced my life in a big way. I learned from a young age that you can do anything you set your mind to. I spent a lot of time day dreaming about owning my own business, but I wasn't sure how or what that would look like. It didn't matter what age I was, being at Dad's office always felt so special! Yes, that's me on my Dad's work truck :)
The year I turned fourteen, my dad passed away. I'd always been the artsy type, but after that happened being creative turned into a way to self soothe. I would spend hours drawing and painting, this was my new happy place. In High School I spent every moment I could in the art room. Occasionally, I would take requests from friends and family to draw or paint scenes for them. This is where the passion started to grow.
After graduating, I worked for a tech company, solving problems for people on their phones, tablets, and computers. Later, I worked as an Administrative Assistant to a singer songwriter who also owns an orphanage and a large online business. After working with her for a few years, I decided to finally start my own business.
Starting a business that supports other small business owners has been so fulfilling. I would have loved to work side by side with my dad. I know we would have had a blast together! Whether I'm building a website, on a strategy call, or grabbing coffee with a fellow business owner, I'm honored to be a part of your journey.
