No matter how many paintings I've finished, a blank white piece of paper is just as exciting as it is intimidating. Especially when it's an 18" x 24", like this one. I was so worried about messing it up that I've left the paper to collect dust under my bed for 2 years! A friend of mine bought me the paper for Christmas and there are only 12 pieces so I would have felt terrible if I ruined it! Today felt different though. I thought, so what? Maybe I make something awful and waste a piece of the paper. What's the worst that could happen?
